メッセージ
Nowadays, abundant research results on parallel and distributed computing and systems, P2P, cluster and grid systems, networks and multimedia communication are presented worldwide. The research on all aspects of theory, design and applications of parallel and distributed computing and systems is of great demand as computer and network technologies are rapidly developed. We believe that this trend will continue and the research on these areas will lead the future of computer science and computer industry into a new era.
Computer science and computer technologies have been and will be the major power to advance human civilization. Nowadays, many advanced computer and network related tools and machines have been realized and widely utilized. Many of them depend on the theory and design of parallel and distributed systems. For students who are interested in learning computer science, our department provides excellent learning environment including many internationally renowned professors, flexible and professional syllabus, and advanced computer equipments.

プロジェクト概要
当プロジェクトでは、コンピュータによるアニメーションやゲーム、CG制作などを主に行っています。1,2年生では、Javaというプログラミング言語を用いて2次元のグラフィックやアニメーション、ゲームを作成しています。いくつものサンプルプログラムを用意しているので、生徒たちはその中から好きなサンプルを選び、好きにアレンジをすることができます。もちろん自分でサンプルを見つけてきたり、または最初から制作をしても構いません。2,3年生では、プロの人たちが実際に使用している本格的な3DCG開発ツールを利用して3次元アニメーションやグラフィックの作成を体験することができます。最近では、Web上でとても人気のあるFlashというツールを利用した生徒もいて、研究の幅が広がっています。卒業研究では、Webアプリケーション(Web上で動作するアプリケーションソフト)の開発、3DCGアルゴリズム、ゲーム開発などが過去に行われています。とにかく生徒たちが自分でアイデアを出し自由に開発や設計を行い、自分の作品を制作することを楽しんで欲しいと思っています。
